The JAG Universal Coherence Index
A live measure of planetary coherence · Updated every 5 minutes
A single 0–1000 score computed from six independent streams — Earth's geomagnetic field, solar and space weather, quantum randomness, aggregated human biometrics, social sentiment, and the JAG ecosystem signal. Every raw input and weight is exposed. No black boxes.
Each stream is independently sourced, independently scored, and independently auditable. The JUCI is the weighted geometric mean — if any one collapses, the composite moves with it.
Formula. The composite uses a weighted geometric mean: JUCI = (∏ Sᵢ^wᵢ)^(1/Σwᵢ). A geometric mean is multiplicative, not additive — the philosophical claim is that coherence is holistic. If any stream collapses toward zero, the composite collapses with it.
Weights (Phase 1). S₁ Geomagnetic = 0.20 · S₂ Space Weather = 0.15 · S₃ Quantum RNG = 0.15 · S₄ Biometrics = 0.25 · S₅ Sentiment = 0.15 · S₆ Ecosystem = 0.10. Every weight change is Genesis Ledger anchored.
Phase 1 posture. Three streams are live (S₁, S₂, S₃). Three are transparently simulated with SIM badges (S₄, S₅, S₆). Phase 2 brings the simulated streams online: S₄ via the JHCP opt-in HRV cohort, S₅ via Claude-driven sentiment analysis, S₆ via JAG ecosystem telemetry.
Live sources (Phase 1). S₁ — NOAA SWPC Kyoto Dst index and planetary Kp index. S₂ — NOAA SWPC 1-minute Kp, GOES X-ray flux (0.1–0.8 nm) and solar wind speed. S₃ — bit balance of 1,024 bytes from the ANU Quantum Random Number Generator. Each stream card shows its raw inputs and sub-scores.
Resilience. If a live source momentarily fails, the last-good reading is carried forward badged stale (for up to six hours) rather than collapsing to neutral. The composite never crashes on a transient blip.
